Effective date: July 15, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Alisher Zhanayev, an operator based in Kazakhstan ("we," "us," or "our"), for your use of the Statement Converter controlled beta (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and beta access
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for it. Access is invite-only, personal to the approved account, and may not be shared.
The controlled beta is provided without charge. Paid plans, checkout, guest uploads, open registration, and scanned-document processing are not enabled.
2. What the Service does
The Service accepts supported digital bank-statement PDFs with selectable text and produces reviewable transaction data, Excel files, standard CSV files, and QuickBooks-compatible CSV files. It does not connect to QuickBooks, categorize transactions, choose accounts, or post entries to accounting software.
3. Your documents and responsibilities
You represent and agree that:
- you own or have all permissions needed to upload and process each document;
- your use of the Service and its outputs will comply with applicable law and your confidentiality duties;
- you will protect your account and promptly report suspected unauthorized access; and
- you will review every result, flagged row, balance, and export before relying on it or importing it into accounting software.
You retain your rights in uploaded documents and output data. You grant us only the limited permission needed to host, process, reproduce, and delete that material to operate, secure, and support the Service under these terms and the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- upload material you are not authorized to process;
- use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive activity;
- probe, bypass, or interfere with access controls, security, usage limits, or another user's data;
- introduce malware or use automated traffic that could impair the Service; or
- reverse engineer the Service except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
5. Financial and beta limitations
Outputs may be incomplete, unsupported, or incorrect. Reconciliation and review flags help identify issues but do not guarantee accuracy. No accuracy percentage, uninterrupted availability, support response time, service-level agreement, or compatibility with every bank or statement format is promised.
The Service provides a document-conversion tool, not accounting, tax, legal, investment, or financial advice. You remain responsible for the books, records, filings, imports, and professional judgments made using an output.
6. Retention and confidentiality
We handle documents as described in the Privacy Policy. In the controlled beta, successful source PDFs are scheduled for deletion after processing, failed source PDFs may remain for up to one hour for retry, and results and exports expire within 24 hours. You should keep any copy you need and request document deletion when appropriate.
7. Suspension and changes
We may suspend or end beta access to protect users or the Service, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, or discontinue the beta. We may change beta features or these terms. The date at the top identifies the current terms; continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
8. Intellectual property
Except for your documents and output data, the Service, its software, design, and content are owned by us or our licensors. These terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the controlled beta as intended.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or error-free operation. Mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or lost data arising from the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Kazakhstan will resolve disputes, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
